Pros:  no need for a computer to surf the web do it on your sidekick3

Cons:  can't customize backround, limited ringers, no 3way calling, headset is a little staticky, cant send photos to another cell, photo quality isnt that great, fonts need to be bigger I just got my sidekick 3 and I have to say its the do all phone. Well not allll. You cant 3 way a call, you cant send photos to another phone (or maybe i just dont know how to yet) the photo quality is a bit grainy, the camera is not the easiest thing to operate esp when you need the flash, But if you need to stay in contact 24/7 on your im then its perfect. I havent use the music feature yet, but i am sure i wont have to buy a new phone for quite some time. I upgraded from a nokia 6800.

You can do every thing on it !

Pros:  AIM, YAHOO Instant messaging

Cons:  Everything else I purchased this phone prior to it being available in stores. I even agreed to a 2 year contract in order to get the Sidekick3 at a reasonable price. After a long lasting battle between UPS and T-Mobile, I finally get the phone I had been waiting for.... Damn! what a dissappoinment. This phone/mini cpu has no... Voice Record, Personalization Options (as far as background goes), yes you are able to log on to the net, BUT this device is incapable of veiwing flash media. I thought the the purpose of newer products was keep up or be advanced with technology, not stay where u were with the last model. The camera quality is horrible, it has an envelope setting when you use it as a camera, but its not capable of sending or recieveing picture messages. Now I'm no expert in technology but I feel whoever was behind the making of this product was more focused on making money off of customers and clients than spending money to assure the best available features for consumers. I would like to thank Yahoo for giving me the oppurtunity to vent my frustrations with this product and I would advice T-Mobile to step their phone game up because Verizon is looking real attractive right about now. Thank You, Qwest Kid!

Pros:  Smaller, lighter, faster internet then the side kick II, better camara, cool mp3 player easy to use.

Cons:  Can't use MP3 songs as ring tones. Battery life is a joke, couldn't transfer programs from side kick 2, to the 3. Overall I am satisfied with the sidekick 3. The MDA is a better value, due to better software, windows mobile, media player, and videos, But I am use to the side kick and I'm not changing.

Pros:  Instant messaging, email, MP3, Bluetooth, and Conference calling

Cons:  Crappy cam :( My 2 year contract with Verizon finally came to an end and I have been ready for a change. The only phone that I wanted was the Sidekick 3 and it's one of the best decisions that I've made. I know $300 can be pretty steep for a phone but this phone is worth it and it has it all! Now I can keep in touch with everyone and they can keep in touch with me when we are all on the go. I've had the phone for almost a month and I can't stop playing with it. People complaining about no 3-way calling are wrong because it's called Conference calling so you still have 3 way calling!!! I haven't had the same problems with battery life that everyone else has so I can't complain about that. The lack of ringtones don't bother me because most people today download them and the SK3 has an ample supply of them whether it's music or a celeb speaking a catch phrase. My main complaint is the camera, it really sucks. The pics are grainy and I think for $300 they could have improved it.

Pros:  Everything! Aim/Yahoo/Text/Email/Keyboard. It's Awsome!

Cons:  The battery life - Cant use MP3's as ring tone The background is not really a problem, There is a way to get your background to the pictures you want it to. If you know to find out how to, just email me (jimtang@sbcglobal.net) and ill tell you how.

The whole not being able to set your mp3's to a ringtone is disappointing, but It's not much of a big loss, I just bought 1 ringtone and I just use that one. No biggie. most of the time its on vibrate anyways (class)

I love the keyboard, the internet is good.. its a little bit slower than what I'm use to, but its still good.

The music player is AWSOME!, and if/when you upgrade the SD card.. it makes the side kick like so much better.

The track ball is amazing, and using the side kick to make phone calls was actually really easy, most of the time when you are calling someone in the address book, you dont even need to fip the the top, you can juust use the track ball.

The track ball is awsome, and i love how it lights up.

Cons:  you only have 4 options for background changing this phone is awesome and you can do everything you would on a normal phone plus more. you can surf the web, listen to music, make notes, set dates in a calendar with reminders, take better pictures, MAKE THREE WAY CALLS,plus speakerphone and many other features. overall this phone is GREAT

Pros:  Highly functional. Very easy to use. Creates a potential to be very efficient.

Cons:  The battery life should be better than it is. I work full time, but I also run a small business on the side. The Sidekick 3 makes running my side business much easier. I'm much more efficient now. When a client e-mails me, I get it right away, and, more importantly, can respond to it right away. I can schedule appointments and update my contacts in real time. I no longer need my quicknotes and to wait until my lunch break. The keyboard on this phone is well made. I thought it would be clumsy to punch little keys, but it's incredibly easy on the Sidekick 3.

The Sidekick 3 is also fun. I love the MP3 player and I like being able to log into Yahoo Messenger. The camera? To be honest, I don't use it. I'll buy a real camera when I'm interested in taking pictures.

Most importantly, the Sidekick 3 is a great phone. The sound quality is very clear. It's easy to use call waiting, confrencing, and to access voice mail.

The only con I have is the battery life. It doesn't last as long as it should. Definitely invest in a car charger or get in the habit of bringing the carger that comes with it along with you. It's easy to get dependent on the Sidekick, so you don't want it to die on you.
