Pros:  massive amount of space for a good price

Cons:  seems sluggish at times I recently purchased the 500 GB version of this drive for a little more than $100 including Ohio Sales Tax. This seemed a good deal to me and the roominess of the drive is quite adequate for my burgeoning photo and music collections. My MacBook Pro's drive was more than a little cramped and the time it takes to burn DVDs is just not worth it to me. The drive feels sturdy when it is handled and not cheap like the recent MyBook drive I purchased. The small footprint and modern design are also plusses for my already cramped desktop.

I am not a fan of the cell phone charger looking plug, but I am not a fan of any plug that can take up more than one outlets worth of space. There are also times after the drive has sat for a while with no activity that it seems to be sluggish on when first responding. The throughput seems fine after that.

My overall opinion of the drive is that it is a good value even at a higher price than I paid.
