Pros:  Lots of green glowy pieces

Cons:  Kinda filmsy, air cannon is terrible I had high hopes for the Lego Mars Mission ETX Alien Mothership Assault. From the box, I was intrigued at the little ships that would detach from the mothership. That was excited, but in realty not so much. The wing ships include aliens impaled on the bottom of a pole. The Front ship is ok with ok wings and lots of 'gun ports'. The alien pilot can fall out. The mothership features two gunners who waggle freely in the wing and the moveable tail wings seem cosmetic and again filmsy. Those tails should have had some stickers. All together the mothership looks neat but lacks the oomp and the missle that shoots up at a 45 degree angle can't make up for it.
The Mars Mission base is terrible. The cannon really needs you to smash it to fire a missle a few inches. The cannon can be angled up and down, not left and right. It is supposed to be a drilling machine too, but that is not quite right- seems like an add on. Why have a huge cannon and a little drill? I would think there should be a bigger digger and some place to put crystals. Anyway, I can't wait to tear it apart and see what else I can build with it.
