Cons:
Noisy, does poorly on long whiskers I purchased this unit at a local department store at an average price ($40 on sale), figuring I could replace it if I didn't like it.
After several months I have come to find that if I shave every day it does a decent job. It is easy on the skin and gives a smooth shave.
However, if I go several days without shaving, my whiskers are just too long for it to shave without either using the trimmer, which does not work well for this purpose, or going over my face numerous times. I am retired so every-day shaving is not a necessity.
At age 76, my beard does not grow very quickly but still poses a challange.
I still long for my 20 year old plus Norelco rotary. I like the screen feature on the Braun but not enough to overcome the inconveniences.
